For most people, especially if you wear makeup, sunscreen, or work up a sweat during the day, a double cleanse is the key. The first cleanser, whether it's micellar water or a cleansing balm/oil, targets the removal of makeup and SPF. The second cleanser, however, takes the game to the next level by truly cleansing the skin, prepping it for the goodness to follow.

2. Essence or Toner: The Absorption Boost

While optional, incorporating an essence or toner into your routine can significantly boost the absorption of subsequent skincare products. Think of it as the welcome mat for your serums and moisturizers.

3. Retinol and Hyaluronic Acid: The Power Duo

For most people, applying retinol before thicker serums like Hyaluronic Acid (HA) is the winning formula.
